Odysseus: The Fall

Overview

Odysseus left Troy with twelve ships and six hundred men. None of them saw home again. In Homer, the famous sea-stories, the Cyclops, the witch, the Sirens, are told by one voice: his own, to a court of strangers, with no survivor left to contradict him. ODYSSEUS: The Fall retells the epic as the fractured memory of a drowning man, the same voyage, told by the only witness there ever was.
